Digital Account Manager



We are looking for a Digital Account Manager who will be responsible for supporting our existing clients and also on-boarding new clients, working with them on a range of digital strategy projects. Working with your cross-functional team at Hirola, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing against client briefs, delivering exceptional UX, design, development, and marketing strategy whilst having the client’s business strategy in the heart of the decision-making process.
You will be working with an experienced team of marketers, designers and developers on exciting projects across a number of industries and well-known brands.


As the primary point of contact for our clients, you will manage the day-to-day relationship with all project stakeholders and provide continued support in order to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and to the budget allocated. Your role will include:

  • Maintaining regular communication with various groups within the Hirola Group and the clients’ organisations
  • Overseeing your clients’ onboarding and kick-off meetings
  • Analysing project scope and then overseeing and execution against project deliverables. This includes managing timelines and budget
  • Addressing your clients’ urgent needs and managing expectations at all stages of a project to ensure high client satisfaction
  • Being a focal point during the strategy phase of a project, leading the research process from start to finish and ensuring this feeds into the overall strategy recommendation for the client
  • Adhering and ensuring relevant departments’ to follow the internal processes
  • Assisting clients with any issues or questions relating to building and launching their campaigns and/or products
  • Looking for additional pathways for the growth and development of client accounts and how Hirola’s offering can help them achieve their strategic objectives


  • Experience in project management, digital marketing, digital strategy or technology sector is essential
  • Relevant BA/BS degree preferred with a strong record of academic success
  • Minimum of 2 years client facing experience in an agency environment
  • A self-starter who has a passion for digital strategy and technology
  • Ability to solve problems, overseeing and managing client accounts from inquiry to planning, executing and reporting
  • Some technical knowledge of website builds or CMS’s, i.e. WordPress functions and features
  • Experience in troubleshooting clients technical issues and working with developers to solve problems
  • Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced agency environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience or familiarity with project management tools, i.e. JIRA, Smartsheets
  • Have a valid visa/the right to work in the UK


  • You will have a good understanding of digital marketing principles, web development and digital strategy
  • Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management workflows
  • Creative skills or experience will be a huge plus
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and developments which can assist or impact your client
