An Intro into SEO for Marketing Managers

Our introduction to SEO course is aimed at marketing managers who need to get a good overview of what SEO is and the key information you need to know to be able to manage an SEO team or member of staff.

The course is a basics course, but it looks at everything from a point of view that makes it ever practical for day to day marketing managers. We will cover:

  • What is SEO and why is it important?
  • Overview of on-page SEO and keyword research.
  • Basics of technical SEO.
  • The essential metrics to measure SEO success.
  • Tools to measure SEO success.
  • Methods of researching the viability of SEO as a marketing channel.
  • Creating structured content for the web.

Following the presentation there will be a short workshop on writing content for the web, in which you will utilise the skills learnt in a practical way. Please bring a laptop with your company (or personal brand) website logins if you can. We will also have time for questions with our Marketing Director Will.
